Section Leader - David Jones
In the latter part of my previous career as a Police officer, I was actively involved in rural affairs, including aspects of wildlife ranging.
A little over two years ago my wife expressed a desire to join a Badger Group by use of the Royal "I want to join a Badger group" (meaning - find out how to do it and we will both join!) I duly did so and we have been active members for just over two years now, and a thoroughly enjoyable time it has been too.
When Dennis, our previous section leader, announced that he was retiring I was most honoured to be unanimously elected to take his place.
My aim is to increase local awareness and importance of wildlife and to maintain the already excellent working relationship with other bodies and organisations.
Meetings held - 2nd Tuesday of every month, 8pm start
