Jade

Jade was picked up very early one morning by a member of public who was on his way to work. He took the little badger to a local vets, but there was nobody there at that time in the morning. So, not being able to think what was the best thing to do, he decided to leave her on the doorstep. Luckily, and amazingly, she was still there when the vet arrived!

She was found to have only superficial injuries, but as she had been left with no note or anything, we needed to find out where she had come from. We put an urgent appeal on BBC Essex for the person who had found her to get in contact. Luckily he had heard the appeal and responded.

Lucky Jade was successfully released back at her sett a couple of days after her brush with death.
