the story of Judy
Judy the badger was reported to the hotline as a road victim. She was picked up by members of our group, and appeared to be suffering from an injured shoulder. After closer inspection, an old snare wound was noticed underneath her neck. She was in a very bad way, underweight and not able to stand properly. She spent seven and a half weeks at a rescue centre in Essex, where her wound was cleaned and where she received physiotherapy for her shoulder injury. After regaining her body weight and strength, she was successfully released back to her sett by members of our group. |
