Section Leader - Gill Hagger
Gill joined the group about 6 years ago after a lengthy time studying with the Open University and was looking for something else to do which did not involve exams.
Gill lives at Wivenhoe and is married with one adopted cat named Buzzer. She always had an enthusiastic interest in all aspects of nature. Gill spotted an advert in the local standard for a badger talk by Dennis Dungey and signed up as a member afterwards. She volunteered to take on the Tendring section two years ago. At the time Colchester and Tendring were amalgamated as one section but now both sections are flourishing in their own right.
Daytime will find Gill working as a finance director for a manufacturing company, a challenging position during the current recesssion.
Gills other interests include attempting to cook, walking, cycling, reading and seeing as much of the countryside as time permits.
Meetings held - 2nd Wednesday of every month, 8pm start
