The Wormingford Triplets
One cub was found in the road and had been passed over by many cars. Further inspection of the area revealed TWO other cubs hiding in the undergrowth. All three were gathered up and taken to a Group member's house for some TLC. Hourly feeds and fluids throughout the night saw them revive to the extent that they were playing happily together. All three were eventually taken to Wildlife Aid in Surrey where they received some veterinary treatment, teamed up with another lone cub and given a tasty meal of earthworms, which went down very well - 'like cats with catnip'! All the cubs will be released back into the wild in the autumn. A truly remarkable rescue! |
